Hi! I'm Kristena most call me Tena (pronounced -Tina) because of my last name Turner, and this is Tenatravels! From small town shy girl to what some call the adventure witch, I have a never ending passion for travel and forever growing wanderlust. Check one place off add 15 more. I've worked in the skies as a flight attendant for the past 13 years, which has left me with many interesting stories and more memories than I can count. If I'm not working, I'm constantly researching new places or on an adventure in my own time. I just checked off country number 35 and have been to all 50 stats but that's just a very small dent in my never ending list. I love the outdoors and am up for trying basically anything. I'm a touch of an adrenaline junkie, I've skydived, bungee jumped, hang-glided, paraglided, cliff jumped, I ski, snowboard, attempt to surf, hike basically anything I can get my feet on, snorkel, and am really not a big fan of the word no. I also really enjoy roaming aimlessly around a city, taking in the architecture, food, finding views from above, chatting with locals, exploring the culture. I love a beautiful sunrise and at the same time love a good nightlife, sleep definitely gets put to the back burner on my travels, although I have started valuing a bit more as I age. I would say I'm an in between traveler, meaning I'll still stay in hostels and a tent but appreciate a comfy bed and nice hotel room once in a while. I've rented cars in many countries, taken trains, ferries, overnight busses, lots and lots of planes, and in some cases have hopped on strangers motorcycles or scooters. Travel has really opened my mind and expanded my view on so many things. I full heartedly love it and want to share everything I can about it, so hopefully you'll fall in love with it too.
